The destination of the disciples' boat shifted during the storm, yet it still reached its intended shore, highlighting how God can redeem even our detours for a greater purpose. This miracle encourages us to respond to our storms with courage, drawing strength from Jesus' presence and His promise of peace. Just as the disciples invited Jesus into their boat, we too must invite Him into the messy realities of our struggles, trusting that He will bring purpose to our pain and guide us to where we truly need to be.

We learned that even when we feel like we don't have enough, God can take what little we offer and multiply it beyond our wildest dreams. This story isn't just about a miraculous meal; it's a powerful lesson on trusting God's ability to turn our feelings of insufficiency into overflowing abundance.

We tell ourselves we're too busy, too tired, or just not ready to tackle those things we know we should. But let's be real, those excuses are just a cover-up for not doing what we know we need to do. Today, we're diving into a powerful story from the Bible, John 5, where Jesus encounters a man who's been suffering for 38 years. This man's been living with excuses for so long, they've become his reality. But Jesus asks him a simple yet profound question: "Do you want to be healed?" It's a question we all need to ask ourselves. Do we really want to break free from our limitations, our excuses, and step into the breakthrough God has for us?
This story isn't just about physical healing; it's about recognizing the areas in our lives where we're stuck, where we've allowed excuses to hold us back. Whether it's our finances, relationships, dreams, or even our faith, Jesus is asking us, "Do you want to get well?" He's inviting us to stop blaming our circumstances, our past, or other people, and instead, to rise up in obedience. Just like the man at the pool of Bethesda, we need to take action, leave our old ways behind, and trust in the Miracle Worker, Jesus. Because our breakthrough begins where our excuses end, and when we seek Him, we find not just miracles, but the One who makes them possible.
